The RVEEH Cataract Fellow will be an integral part of Surgical Ophthalmology Service (SOS). Rotation to other associated services within the Victorian region may be required for short times. SOS receives tertiary care referrals from an extended area within Victoria. The Fellow will be exposed to and trained in current state of the art advanced diagnostic, medical, and surgical techniques in the management of anterior segment disorders. The primary objective of the fellowship is to provide the fellow with exposure to and hands on training with the most advanced and complex cataract surgical problems. Surgical approaches would be performed with the latest devices, technology and techniques, with the exception of femtosecond laser.
Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Doctors-in-Training Agreement 2022-2026.
