Are you a DevSecOps Engineer with a passion for securely delivering beautiful products that people love to use?


What You’ll Do

As a DevSecOps Engineer within SAP Learning Systems you will work with an amazing team of highly talented engineers, designers, and product managers to transform the way the entire SAP ecosystem learns, upskills and how our customers and partners are enabled on our solutions.

You will work in a cross-functional development team responsible for the design, coding, testing and quality assurance of specific product features. You will collaborate with product management and solution engineering colleagues to design and promote secure-by-default architecture and secure development practices. You will help implement Security-as-Code principles to improve security of the entire product suite.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and promote secure-by-default architecture and secure development practices

  • Implement Security-as-Code principles to improve security of the entire product suite

  • Execute security operation control to respond to and mitigate security incidents and vulnerabilities

  • Quick response to new and emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, investigate suspected attacks and help manage security incidents including post-mortem analysis, identify causes, develop solutions and preventive measures

  • Automate security principles and checkpoints into the CI/CD pipeline and containerization process

  • Analyze security data collected through various channels and support risk-based decisions

  • Collaborate effectively with each development team to perform security validation, risk assessment, vulnerability mitigation and implement best DevSecOps practices

  • Coordination of a distributed team of DevOps Engineers


What You’ll Bring

We are looking for passionate and self-motivated DevSecOps Engineers with hands-on experience with major DevOps tools and technologies, working experience with CI/CD pipeline, containerization and microservices transformation.

  • You will bring proven experience with application and infrastructure monitoring and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing production-grade products.

  • Successful candidates will have experience in cloud product security, security requirements identification, solution analysis/testing, and product selection.

  • You will also bring your experience in SAST & DAST tools as well as with open-source vulnerability assessment and mitigation.
