Role and responsibilities
Dublin display centre is looking to recruit for a furniture / Cabinet designer
Highly proficient at 2D AutoCAD, and 3D Sketchup (or other 3D packages) a distinct advantage.
Experience in production and furniture design / shopfitting design.
Understanding of detailed technical plans (lighting / electrical etc)
Development of functional layouts.
Experience in ‘setting out’ 2D production drawings. Choosing and advising customers on materials, site visits, architectural measurement of buildings.
Experience in doing production drawings for manufacturing process on CNC machine an advantage
Candidate must be able to take instruction and work on own initiative, with good communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a background in joinery / carpentry within a furniture business
