As our client's Solution Architect, you will take the lead in designing and implementing network and security architectures for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver highly available network and security solutions that align with our clients' business objectives and SLAs. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to manage team members involved in delivering your solution designs and mentor their professional development.

Areas of Accountability & Key Responsibilities

  • Effective communication is essential as you will engage with customers and collaborate with internal teams to ensure we fulfill our commitments.
  • Manage client accounts and serve as the technical lead in delivering advanced network solutions that achieve promised outcomes and exceed our customers' business objectives.
  • Bring fresh thinking to areas such as managed networks, network security, wireless and mobile networks, network design and architecture, network lifecycle management, new technology envisioning, and overall implementation of robust network platforms.
  • Prepare technical design proposals and detailed change requests that lead to successful outcomes.
  • Document clear and concise solution as-builts.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services.
  • Assist in the implementation, continuous improvement, configuration, and optimization of automated management tools used for netQ network management services.
  • Provide Level-3 escalation support for troubleshooting customer issues as needed.
  • Adhere to established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to netQ's and our clients' network infrastructure.
  • Select and implement best practice security tools, policies, and procedures in accordance with our clients' security policies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve problems.
  • Engage in knowledge sharing and mentorship within our collaborative team environment.
  • Fulfill any other reasonable tasks assigned to you.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years working in a similar type of role
  • Certifications with Fortinet, Check Point and or Cisco
  • Vendor related work history
  • Bachelors degree in Networking
  • Take pride in your work, demonstrate a professional work ethic, and accept responsibility for your actions.
  • Exhibit a passion for achieving results and invest the necessary energy and effort to accomplish them.
  • Set and achieve challenging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and stretch objectives.
