Tezlom are recruiting for compassionate Mental Health Care Assistants to care for the residents within specialist Nursing, Care Homes and Mental Health Hospital across the Bromley and surrounding areas. Tezlom are a leading and expanding Healthcare Recruitment Agency, established in 2008.
We Require:
- Minimum of 3 months UK paid experience in the role of a Mental Health Care Assistant within the last 5 years
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- B.I.L.D Accredited RRIT training
- Recent experience working in a mental health setting
- Good communication skills
- Able to monitor patient’s conditions by taking observations/ vital signs including temperatures, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and weight
- Helping patients move around wards
- Compassionate and dedicated to delivering outstanding care.
This role is ideal for Care Assistants who are looking for new opportunities, working up to full time hours on a flexible basis in the Mental Health Setting. Tezlom Mental Health Care Assistants help clients with routine tasks like washing, dressing and cooking, alongside engaging them socially through encouraging conversation. You must be attentive, friendly and outgoing, with an ability to build strong and trusting relationships with your clients and their families.
Rates of pay for all Mental Health Care Assistants range from £10.90 - £12.50 per hour (including holiday pay) via PAYE, with an increase for some bank holiday shifts.
