To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.
We are looking for a strong team player with proven logistics experience, who will be part of the Nike Supply Chain team based in Thailand. The successful candidate will be responsible for end to end fulfilment operations, including middle miles and exception management within the Business to Business (B2B) capacity to ensure smooth orders fulfilment for Consumers. This position contributes a big role in Nike’s growth in Retail and 3rd Party Platform markets. The candidate will partner closely with internal cross-functional and Nike’s Partners to ensure optimal Supply chain experience. The candidate will need to be strong in operation processes with quick, flexible and logical mindset to manage and resolve operational/systems challenge for Thailand portfolio under Nike Thailand B2B and 3rd Party Platform business.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Operations Planning
Partner closely with internal cross-functional and Nike’s Partners to ensure Retailers and 3PP orders are managed and fulfilled. Efficiently drive day to day operations with Nike’s Partners. Partner with Planning Management team to manage the Distribution Center processes, Outbound and Middle Miles capacity with Nike’s partners. Partner closely with Nikes’ partner to manage delivery capacity and schedules for Nike B2B and 3PP business. Resolve exceptions that are road blocks on processing orders with Nike’s partners. Good understanding of 3PP (Lazada/Shoppe/Zalora), SAP, WMS & TMS systems. End to end process mapping / definition. Partner with Planning Management team to operationalize new business stategies with Nikes‘ partners.
Operations Excellence
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Nike’s partner to manage day to day operations. Drive LEAN improvement efforts across internal and external team to create the organizational capabilities required to deliver ongoing improvement. Lead and drive DC and Middle Miles operational health metrics for Nike B2B and 3PP business. Manage exception situations with collaboration through cross functional teamwork and flawless execution. Ensure operations are in-compliance with Nike policies, Customs, Legal, Statutory, Risk Management and Trading Company requirements.
Sustainability
Partner with Planning Management team to support the drive for sustainability KPIs/ projects within operations with Nike’s partners.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will work with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. Internally, this role will partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Digital Ops, Marketplace operations, Consumers Services, Nike Value Stores, Demand Supply management Team and Planning management team. Externally, this role will require close partnership with Nike’s Logistics and 3rd Party Platform partners.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Logistics, with a bachelor’s degree in related education or closed related.
- Supply chain / logistics, outbound management, fulfilment, management with a proven history of delivering results.
- Experience and good knowledge on Freight (Air/Ocean/Road), advantage to have manage Middle Miles/TMS.
- Obsessed with maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations to elevate consumer experience.
- Proven ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment.
- Strong operations skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving skills in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
- Keen attention to detail, an aptitude for process, and a hunger to continuously learn and grow.
- Ability to work as strong team player within a diverse group.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential. WMS, SAP will be an added advantage.
