We are seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to our construction projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with our project managers to ensure that all projects are completed within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on the design and specifications
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure that the project gets the best quality materials at the most competitive prices
- Prepare project budgets and ensure that all costs are within the budgeted amounts
- Monitor and manage project costs throughout the construction process, making adjustments as needed to ensure that the project stays within budget
- Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
- Help resolve disputes that may arise during the construction process, including issues related to contracts, and payments
- Prepare final accounts and close out the project, ensuring that all costs have been accounted for and that any outstanding issues have been resolved.
