Sales Administrator [South Africa]


 

JOB OBJECTIVE

To handle full sales administration responsibilities for Co Ops customers.

TASK DESCRIPTION

· Order and restock new supplies

· Receive customer and client orders

· Prepare the necessary shipment documentation

· Address and resolves any complaints about products, shipping speeds, or damaged items

· print out reports for sales team

· produce lists of goods to be picked out for delivery to store

· Monitor inventory and balance accounts on the system

· Capture credit notes on the system

· Communicate to customers regarding delay in their delivery

· Perform other general administrative duties as assigned by the relevant Supervisor

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Grade 12 is essential

· Diploma or an equivalent tertiary qualification in sales, marketing or supply chain will be advantageous

· Excellent command of Afrikaans is essential

· 3-5 years’ experience in sales environment essential

· Experience in working with Agricultural Co-Ops environment is essential

· Experience in processing quotations, delivery notes, invoices and credit notes

· Must have experience as a user on SAGE Evolution

· Administrative Skills

· Numerical skills

· Attention to detail & accuracy

· A customer service mindset

· Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

· Excellent organizational skills

· Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

· Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and Public Holidays, if and when required or overtime by agreement
